Mr. George Wong, age 37, is a New Zealand citizen with over ten years of experience in network and information security, as well as application systems development, primarily within the financial technology sector. Mr. George Wong completed his studies in Information Technology at the Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology.

Mr. George Wong has worked with financial technology companies and has provided cybersecurity services to banks, brokerage firms, and other financial institutions. His experience includes security architecture design, threat detection and mitigation, security compliance auditing, incident response, and the development of information security management systems.

In addition to his cybersecurity expertise, Mr. George Wong has experience in application systems development, enabling him to assess and address security considerations across the system lifecycle. His background provides the Board with insight into cybersecurity governance, data protection, and technology-related risk management.
